Playing career

The beginnings

The native Madrilene Cabrera started his career as a football player in his hometown at Real Madrid Castilla, the second team Reals. There he played from 2001 to 2003 for two years. He then played three years for the Galician traditional club FC Pontevedra. With the Galicians he achieved promotion to the Segunda División 2003/2004, but this was followed by the immediate descent. Yet another year, he remained there, but as the direct re-emergence was missed he went to the second division side UD Almería.

The last years

With the Andalusians he popped straight in the Primera División - he was an integral part of the team. In the first division, he lost his place, however, so that it has a contract with the second division Deportivo Alavés signed after only three missions in the first round.
