Joseni

Joseni (deprecated Alfalău; Hungarian Gyergyóalfalu or Alfalu ) is a municipality in Harghita County in the Székely Land, in eastern Transylvania in Romania.

Joseni consists of three parts: Borzont, Bucin ( Bucsin ) and Joseni ( Gyergyóalfalu ). The place had in 2002 a population of 5721 inhabitants, of whom 5586 Magyars, 72 Roma, 58 Romanians, two Ukrainians and one Jew, a Pole and a Tschango were.
