Joseph Lloyd Hogan

Joseph Lloyd Hogan ( born March 11, 1916 in Lima, New York, USA; † 27 August 2000) was Bishop of Rochester.

Life

Joseph Lloyd Hogan received on 6 June 1942, the sacrament of Holy Orders.

On October 6, 1969, Pope Paul VI appointed him. Bishop of Rochester. The Apostolic Delegate in the United States, Archbishop Luigi Raimondi, donated to him on 28 November of the same year the episcopal ordination; Co-consecrators were Bishop Emeritus of Rochester, Fulton John Sheen, and the Bishop of Paterson, Lawrence Bernard Brennan Casey.

On November 22, 1978 Joseph Lloyd Hogan resigned as Bishop of Rochester.
