Joseph Luechai Thatwisai

Joseph Luechai Thatwisai ( Thai: ย อ แซ ฟ ลือ ชัย ธาตุ วิสัย; born December 2, 1962 in Phon Sung, Chai Wan district, Udon Thani Province, northeast Thailand ) is Thai priest and Bishop of Udon Thani.

Life

Joseph Luechai Thatwisai received on 24 May 1990, the ordination. Pope Benedict XVI. appointed him on 14 November 2009 as Bishop of Udon Thani.

The retired Bishop of Udon Thani, George Yod Phimphisan CSsR, donated to it on 6 February of the next year, the episcopal ordination; Co-consecrators were Salvatore Pennacchio, Apostolic Nuncio to Thailand, Singapore and Cambodia and Apostolic Delegate in Myanmar, Laos, Malaysia and Brunei Darussalam, and Louis Chamniern Santisukniram, Archbishop of Thare and Nonseng.
