Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Thare and Nonseng
The Archdiocese of Thare and Nonseng (Latin: Archidioecesis Tharensis et Nonsengensis, Thai: เขต มิส ซัง ท่า แร่ - หนอง แสง ) is a location in Thailand Roman Catholic archdiocese headquartered in Sakon Nakhon. It includes the provinces of Kalasin, Mukdahan, Nakhon Phanom and Sakon Nakhon.
History
Pope Leo XIII. founded with the Apostolic Constitution Christ mandatum on October 15, 1971, the Apostolic Vicariate of Laos from annexations of the Apostolic Vicariate of Eastern Siam. On 21 October 1950, adopted the name Apostolic Vicariate Thare.
On March 25, 1960, took the name Apostolic Vicariate of Thare and Nonseng. With the Bull Qui in fastigio it was collected on 18 December 1965 in the rank of a Metropolitan bishopric.
