Josh Arieh

Josh Arieh ( born September 26, 1974 in Rochester, NY) is a professional American poker players.

His biggest financial success achieved Josh Arieh in the Main Event of the World Series of Poker 2004. He was third and received a cash prize of $ 2,500,000.

In the World Series of Poker 2005 he won his second bracelet in the Pot Limit Omaha variant. He suggested the heads-up the pro Chris Ferguson.

He has achieved numerous other tournament successes and final tables in TV tournaments. Since his 21 years he plays around Atlanta Poker and has made a name for himself as a high limit players in all of poker.

Arieh has been heavily criticized for his boorish behavior at the final table of the 2004 WSOP. After his retirement, he handed the remaining Greg Raymer and David Williams 's hand. While he gave Williams his hand, he whispered "bust this motherfucker " in his ear. He did not realize that a microphone had transferred this. He has apologized for it and Raymer forgave him.

2005 succeeded Josh Arieh to play a royal flush on a video poker and he won $ 100,000.

With his wife Angela Arieh he has three children.
