Josico

José Joaquín Moreno Verdú called Josico ( born January 6, 1975 in Hellin, Albacete ) is a Spanish footballer who plays for UD Las Palmas.

Playing career

His career as a professional footballer began Josico the first division of his hometown Albacete Balompie. However, after a year in the first team he joined already with his team in the Segunda División. The following two years were spent Josico in Albacete in 1998 before he went to the traditional UD Las Palmas, which was also present at this time in the Segunda División. With the Canarians he rose to 1999/2000, left the club after relegation in the 2001/2002 season but towards Villarreal. With Villarreal he reached inter alia, the semifinals of the UEFA Champions League. On August 28, 2008, he moved to the Turkish giants Fenerbahce Istanbul, where he signed a two -year contract. However, his contract was terminated early due to poor performance.
