Juan Calzadilla

Juan Calzadilla (* 1931 in Altagracia de Orituco ) is a Venezuelan writer and artist.

He studied at the Universidad Central de Venezuela and at the Instituto Nacional Pedagógico. He is a member of the group El techo de la Ballena (1961 ) and the magazine Imagen ( l984 ).

In his books, he deals mainly with art. He has also written several biographies of Venezuelan artist Arturo Michelena and Armando Reveron.
