Julia Campbell

Julia Campbell ( born March 12, 1962 in Huntsville, Alabama ) is an American actress.

Life and achievements

Campbell attended Lake Braddock Secondary School in Burke, Virginia. She made her debut in the television series Ryan's Hope, where she played in the years 1984 to 1985 Katie Thompson. In 1986, she appeared in the television series California communities. A year later she starred in the series Women in Prison one of the main roles. In the comedy The misfortune Ritter ( 1990) she played alongside Dana Carvey one of the major roles.

In the comedy Romy and Michele ( 1997), Campbell played the role of Christy Masters, the former head cheerleader who humbles since high school Romy White ( Mira Sorvino ), Michele Weinberger (Lisa Kudrow ) and Heather Mooney ( Janeane Garofalo ). In the film drama Bounce - A Chance for Love (2000) she starred alongside Ben Affleck and Gwyneth Paltrow. In the film drama The Tillamook Treasure ( 2006), she took a starring role.

Campbell married in 1988, the actor Bernard White. After the divorce, she married the actor Jay Karnes.
