Julia Marcell

Julia Marcell, real name Julia Górniewicz, is a Polish singer and pianist. She lives in Germany.

Career

Since the age of 14 Julia Marcell composes his own pieces. In 2007, she learned to play the piano. In 2007, she released her first EP, entitled Storm. In October she received via crowdfunding on SellaBand $ 50,000 so she could start on her debut album with the work. It Might Like You was published in 2009 in Germany and was produced by Moses Schneider, who had already worked with Beatsteaks, Tocotronic and Kreator.

She was 2008 Gästsängerin in the album To the Bottom of the Sea by Voltaire in the song The Sea, in which she sang a duet with him. In the same album Voltaire coverte their song accordion player. On August 12, 2009, Marcell Polskie Radio 3 their debut album.

Since 2010 she toured extensively through Germany, Czech Republic, Poland, Finland, Japan and the United States.
