Julian Barratt

Julian Barratt ( born May 4, 1968 in Leeds, England ) is an English comedian, actor and musician.

The Mighty Boosh

Barratt is best known for his role as Howard Moon in the British stage show and TV series The Mighty Boosh. There he plays on the side of Noel Fielding ( Vince Noir ). Barratt and Fielding met during a first performances of Barratts know. Barratt was very impressed by Fielding's skill, and so it came about that the two decided to henceforth a common path. Your different looks and different character traits make the two core contents of The Mighty Boosh.

Personal

Barratt is an accomplished and versatile musician. He describes himself as a fanatical jazz musician and played in the 1990's in a band called Groove Solution. Barrat has also played with Chris Corner in his solo project IAMX. He composes all the music for The Mighty Boosh.

Like his series character prefers Barratt to stay home and read a book instead of going to the public. He is currently romantically involved with comedienne Julia Davis.
