Julián Estéban

He began his career in the youth team of amateur club FC City. 1997, at the age of ten years he came to the youth of Servette FC Genève. As of January 2005, he was part of the senior squad; for the 2005/06 season, he managed to jump into the A-Team. There, he scored in his first 26 league games 22 goals in the league and third-class 1 was instrumental in promotion to the Challenge League. In January 2007, he moved for an estimated transfer fee of two million euros to the French first division side Stade Rennes. He got there a contract until June 2011.

His first try in Ligue 1 had Esteban, when he came off the bench in the 0-1 defeat to Auxerre in the 86th minute for Erik Edman on March 4, 2007. His first goal for Rennes, he scored on 20 October 2007 at the home game against UC Le Mans. After coming off the bench in the 74th minute, he scored in the second minute of stoppage time to make it 3-0.

For the 2009/10 season he returned on loan to Servette Geneva. In the summer of 2010, he broke his contract with Stade Rennes on early and decided the definitive return to Servette. In the 2010/11 season Esteban contributed nine league goals for advancement in the Axpo Super League.

Julian Esteban has 2008 ten games contested for the U -21 selection of the Swiss national football team until August. He scored five goals.

On January 8, 2013 Julian Esteban announced to end his career due to injuries.
