Julian Rubinstein

Julian Rubinstein ( born 1968 in New York, USA) is an American journalist and writer. As a journalist he worked, among other things, for the music magazine Rolling Stone and the newspapers New York Times and The Washington Post and the sports magazine Sports Illustrated. His first, and so far only, novel is the biography of the Hungarian-Romanian Hockey goalkeeper and bank robber Attila Ambrus. This book was nominated in the category Best Fact Crime for the Edgar Allan Poe Award for Best Non-fiction book category for the Anthony Award in 2005 and won the 2004 Borders "Original Voices" Non-Fiction Book of the Year. The rights to his life story sold Rubinstein already on Johnny Depp. Rubinstein lives and works in New York.
