Julie Clark

Julie Clark ( * June 27, 1948 in Hayward, California) is an American aerobatic pilot and former commercial airliner leader.

Life

Julie Clark's mother died when she was 14 years old. 1964, a year later, her father Ernest Clark was shot by a passenger as captain of the Pacific Air Lines Flight 773. However, the death of her father increased their resolve itself to become a professional pilot.

She started her career with commercial flights at the Golden West Airlines as a first officer and ended her career in 2003 as Northwest Airlines Airbus A320 Captain. She was one of the first female pilots who flew for a major airline in the United States. Julie Clark has 40 years of flying experience and a little more than 30,000 accident-free flight hours in their flight log. She was also a Flight Instructor with the U.S. Navy at the Lemoore Naval Air Station (United States Navy Base ) in California. Julie Clark trained Navy pilots in tactical maneuvers, formation flying and aerobatics.

Privately, she flies a Beechcraft T-34, a former military school machine today. With this machine, they flew past about 25 air shows a year and has more than 1000 aerobatic demonstrations conducted throughout the United States.
