Julie Felix

Julie Felix ( born June 14, 1938 in Santa Barbara, California) is an American folk rock singer.

Life

Julie Felix was born in California; she has Mexican and Native American ancestors. From her father she inherited the talent for playing the guitar. In the early 1960s, after a journey hitchhiking through Europe, Felix remains in the UK, where she receives a recording contract with Decca Records in 1964. On their singles and LPs she sings, among other cover versions of Bob Dylan and Woody Guthrie - songs.
