Julie Newmar

Julie Newmar ( born August 16, 1933, Los Angeles, California as Julia Chalene Newmeyer ) is an American actress, singer and dancer.

Julie Newmar is the daughter of Donald Charles Newmeyer (1902-1992) and his wife Helen ( née Jesmer ). She studied after graduating from John Marshall High School at the University of Los Angeles and abandoned his studies to work as an actress.

Newmar, which had stood since the age of fifteen as a dancer for the Los Angeles Opera Company on the stage, made ​​her screen debut in a small role in Elliott Nugent's musical comedy The Just for you in 1952.
