Julien Ielsch

Julien Ielsch ( born March 5, 1983 in Belfort ) is a French football player. He plays as a left-back or in defensive midfield.

Club career

As a youth player Ielsch ran for the French U-15 and U-16 selection. He began playing football at FC Sochaux where he did not, however, make it past the second team. In 2004, he signed with the Swiss first division club Neuchatel Xamax. There he was used regularly, but left the club again in 2005, when he went to Stade Reims. In the second division, he was also a regular player. In 2010 he moved to third division side Amiens SC. With this his 2011 promotion to the second division, which only a year later, the renewed descent followed. Ielsch retained his place in the starting eleven until he signed in the summer of 2013 in the third league rivals Red Star Paris.
