Julius Arnold Koch
Julius Arnold Koch ( born August 15, 1864 in Bremen, † February 10, 1956 in Pittsburgh ) was a German -American chemist.
Koch studied chemistry at the University of Pittsburgh, the University of Munich and the University of Heidelberg. During a stay at Ludwig gate man in Heidelberg he discovered along with gate man named after two gate man - Koch synthesis. Koch was the Dean of the School of Pharmacy at the University of Pittsburgh from the founding of the Faculty until his retirement in 1932.
