Jung Dong-hyun

Jung Dong- hyun ( Kor. 정동현; born June 1, 1988) is a South Korean alpine skier. He denies almost all races in the technical disciplines slalom and giant slalom.

Sporting career

Jung starts since 2005 in East Far East Cup, where he celebrated his greatest successes. He won 28 races in this series so far, twice the slalom and the giant slalom standings once. In the years 2010, 2011 and 2012, the Koreans decided the Appreciation of the Cup itself.

2010 Jung Dong- hyun was a member of the Korean Olympic team for the Winter Games in Vancouver. His Olympic debut in the slalom was disappointing because it is already eliminated in the first round. He was more successful a year later at the Asian Winter Games. Since boys preferred disciplines were not discharged, he started in downhill, super -G and super combined. He was third in the downhill and won gold in the combination. At the Winter Games in Sochi Jung different again from the slalom, but reached number 41 in the giant his first Olympic result.

On race of the Alpine World Cup Jung Dong- hyun attends only sporadically, the first time it was launched in December 2010 in Beaver Creek. For a second passage he had never failed to qualify.
