Jürgen Loacker

Jürgen Loacker ( born December 14, 1974 in Altach ) is a former Austrian bobsledder. He participated in the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin and Vancouver 2010.

Raised in Hohenems, he lives and trains in Götzis / Dornbirn since 1983. After the education and training to Ofensetzer he worked with a focus on athletics. From the Athletics he came through a sighting 1999 bobsledding. After his start as a brakeman on the team by Manfred Maier 2001, he was even bob pilot.

In addition to several victories in the European Cup and Top 10 results in World Cup races and European Championships 8th place at the World Championship 2008 in Altenberg was his internationally best result. National was able to repeatedly win the national title Jürgen Loacker in Austria. Loacker is a former sports soldier of the armed forces.
