Jürgen Paeke

Jürgen Paeke (* September 13 1948 in Biesenthal ) is a former German gymnast. His home club was the SC Dynamo Berlin and later the forward ASK Potsdam.

He won with the team of the German Democratic Republic (GDR) at the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich a bronze medal in the team all-around. In the individual all-around, he finished 28th place at these games.

At GDR championships he won in 1971 and 1972 gymnastics rings on pommel horse two individual national titles. In addition, he was from 1971 to 1973 three times in a row DDR runner-up in the individual all-around.
