Jurgen Van Goolen

Jurgen Van Goolen ( born November 28, 1980 in Leuven ) is a former Belgian cyclist.

Jurgen Van Goolen reach as U23 riders some victories. He won the 2000 season of the Grand Prix Tell, Liege -Bastogne- Liege and the Belgian U23 time trial championship. The Belgian title he defended the following year. He turned pro at the cycling team Domo - Farm Frites 2002. The following year he moved to Quick · Step, where he went three years. 2006 and 2007 drove Van Goolen for the U.S. ProTour team Discovery Channel. At the fifth stage of the Tour de Suisse 2006, almost his first professional win it would have succeeded. The Swiss stage winner Steve Morabito was just a bit stronger than he. 2008 Van Goolen rode for Team CSC (since 2009 as Team Saxo Bank).
