Justus Olshausen

Justus Olshausen ( born May 9, 1800 High Field ( Steinburg ), † December 28, 1882 in Berlin) was a German orientalist and university teachers.

Life

Justus Olshausen was the son of the Superintendent Detlev Olshausen and younger brother Hermann Olshausen. He studied Oriental languages ​​at the Christian- Albrechts- University of Kiel, Friedrich- Wilhelms- University of Berlin and the Sorbonne ( Silvestre de Sacy in ).
