Jutta of Thuringia

Jutta of Thuringia (* 1184 † August 6, 1235 in Schleusingen ) was the eldest daughter of the Landgrave Hermann I of Thuringia.

She was married before in 1197 with the Margrave Dietrich of Meissen the oppressed. After the death of her husband in 1221 she struggled with her brother Landgrave Ludwig IV of Thuringia eagerly to the custodial management of Meissen for its first five year-old son Henry the Illustrious. 1223 she married Count Poppo VII of Henneberg.

Jutta of Thuringia died on August 6, 1235 in Schleusingen.
