Jyoti Randhawa

Jyoti Randhawa ( born May 4, 1972 in New Delhi) is an Indian professional golfer the Asian Tour.

The son of a retired army general became a professional golfer in 1994 and 2002 was the first Indian to have won the money list, the Asian Tour. This Randhawa had a serious motorcycle accident in March of that year and had to stop because of a key broken leg to August. From 2005 to 2010 he was also eligible to play on the European Tour after he was able to achieve a second place at the prestigious Johnnie Walker Classic 2004.

Randhawa represented his country once the now abandoned Dunhill Cup and four times at the World Cup. He stood twice in the victorious Asian team in Dynasty Cup and played once at the Royal Trophy in Asia's selection.

In 2005 he was awarded the Arjuna Award, a state award for India's best athletes, excellent.

Randhawa since 2001 with the Indian actress Chitrangada Singh, the sister of his professional colleagues Digvijay Singh, married and lives in New Delhi. In addition to riding, he also indulges in the equestrian sport and runs regular yoga, which has particularly helped him with his recovery after his accident.
