Asian Tour

The Asian Tour is a series of tournaments in professional golf, which organizes the corresponding events in Asia (except for Japan, where the Japan Golf Tour is in charge ). It is one of the top six tournament series of the International Federation of PGA Tours, based on which the golf world ranking is calculated.

The first season in the currently valid format was played in 1995, it had been carried out earlier attempts to organize an Asian tournament series. The Asian PGA was founded in 1994 and constituted in Hong Kong at a meeting with PGA representatives from eight different countries in July 1994.
