Käbelicksee

The Käbelicksee is a lake in the municipality Kratzeburg of the district Mecklenburg Lake District Mecklenburg -Vorpommern. The lake is divided into a little deeper structured North Basin and a flatter more structured southern basin. Both basins are separated by a larger peninsula. In the southern basin are also two smaller islands. The lake is approximately 2500 meters long and up to 1,500 feet wide. On the north shore is the place Kratzeburg, on the west bank of the district Kratzeburger Dalmsdorf. On the eastern shore, there are several tent sites. The lake has a very good water quality and is the starting point for walks in the water Neustrelitzer area.
