Kablewa

Kabléwa (also: Kabélawa, Kabéléwa ) is a rural municipality in the Department N'Guigmi in Niger.

Geography

Kabléwa lies in the Sahel. The neighboring municipalities are N'Gourti the northwest, N'Guigmi in the northeast, Bosso in the southeast, south and Gueskérou Toumour in the southeast. The municipality is divided into five administrative villages, two traditional villages, a hamlet, three camps, and twelve water points. The main town of the country church is the administrative village Kabléwa (also: Kabélawa ).

History

The rural community Kabléwa went out in 2002 as part of a nationwide administrative reform of parts of Canton N'Guigmi and parts of unincorporated territory.

Population

At the 2001 census Kabléwa had 3918 inhabitants. For the year 2010 5353 population were calculated.

Economy and infrastructure

The majority of the community is located in an area that prevails in the Agropastoralismus. In the southwest of the zone of rainfed farming begins. By Kabléwa the National Road 1, which connects the village to the regional capital Diffa runs.
