Kahoku, Ishikawa
Kahoku (Jap.かほく市, -shi ) is a city in Ishikawa Prefecture in Japan.
Geography
Kahoku is located north of Kanazawa and Wajima south of the Sea of Japan.
History
Kahoku was created on 1 March 2004 by the merger of the municipalities Unoke (宇ノ気 町, machi ), Nanatsuka (七 冢 町, machi ) and Takamatsu (高 松 町, machi ) of the district Kahoku.
