Kaj Poulsen

Kaj Kvistgård Poulsen ( born December 31, 1942 in Nykøbing ) is a former Danish football player.

Career

Kaj Poulsen started his career in 1961 with Vejle BK in the Danish first division. In 1966 he moved to Hannover 96 in the Bundesliga. Under coach Horst Buhtz he came to his first deployment. In the Hanoverians Poulsen stayed for two years before moving to Belgium. There he played for Beerschot AC and KV Turnhout. In 1973 he returned to Vejle BK, where he ended his career in September 1974. For Velje he played a total of 115 league games in which he scored 21 goals and 11 cup games with 5 goals. He also played a European Cup game. Overall, he played for Velje 141 Official matches in which he scored 29 goals.
