Kakrina

Kakrina ( Bulgarian Къкрина ) is a village in the municipality of Lovech, Lovech Oblast in northern Bulgaria. The village is located in the so-called Vorbalkan, a mountain range north of the Balkan Mountains.

The village is known as the place of arrest of the Bulgarian freedom fighters and ideologues Vasil Levski on 15 Dezemberjul. / December 27 1872greg. known. The exact location, the Chan ( service station ) by Christo Zonew is now a museum. The museum was opened on 10 May 1931, was until 1989 one of the 100 national tourist objects in Bulgaria.
