Description
Vegetative characteristics
Kalanchoe delagoensis is a robust, completely bald, two years or more or less perennial, succulent plant, reaches the heights of growth between 0.2 and 2 meters. The upright stems are simple and terete. The three of us seated, seemingly against or AC permanent leaves are usually erect to spread straight. They are easy to cylindrical, upper side slightly rinnig and reach for diameters 2-6 mm in length 1-13 centimeters. The narrowed at the base of the leaf blade is reddish - green to gray- green with reddish brown spots. Sitting on which sit numerous leaf buds two to nine small teeth at the tip of the leaf blade.
Inflorescences and flowers
The compact, multi-flowered inflorescences form 10 to 25 inches long thyrsi. The slender flower stalk is 6-20 mm long. The hermaphrodite flowers hang. The reddish to green and red striped petals are fused glockig. The 2.5 to 6 mm long corolla tube ends in a strongly tapered, triangular - lanceolate corolla lobes 5-10 mm in length and 3.7 to 5.7 mm width. The stamens are attached below the middle of the corolla tube and do not project beyond the tube. The 2 to 2.5 millimeters large anthers are ovate. The 0.7 to 2 inches long Nektarschüppchen are half round to square with a rounded tip. The ovate -oblong carpel is 5.5 to 6.5 millimeters long. The stylus has a length of about 2 millimeters.
