The Kalevi Keskstaadion ( Kalev Central Stadium ) is a stadium for football and athletics competitions in the Estonian capital Tallinn.
Stadium
The stadium is a multi-functional stadium with a large lawn in the center of Tallinn (district Kesklinn ). Today it is used mainly for football matches, but in addition also for athletics and dance events and rallies. It is the home stadium of the Estonian Tallinna Kalev second division JK. The stadium can accommodate 12,000 visitors.
History
The Kalevi Keskstaadion was built in 1956. During the Soviet occupation of Estonia it was Komsomoli Staadion. It was extensively renovated in 2004.
