Kalju ( German Kaljo ) is a village (Estonian küla ) in the rural community Kullamaa ( Kullamaa vald ) in Lääne in Estonia.

Population and location

The village has 38 inhabitants ( 31 December 2011). It lies thirty kilometers south-east of the district capital of Haapsalu.

History

The village was first mentioned in the early 16th century under the name Calge minor.
