Kallithea FC

The Kallithea FC (Greek: Γ.Σ. Καλλιθέα, Gymnasticos Syllogos Kallithea ) is a Greek football club based in Kallithea (Athens), who currently plays in the Football League.

The club was founded in 1966 by the merger of four football clubs ( Espero, Iraklis, AE Kallithea and Kallithaikos ). Another club ( Pyrsos ) came the following year to do so. The five original clubs are represented by the five star logo of the club.

  • In the 1st League (4 years): 2002-2006
  • In the second league (26 years): 1969-75, 1976-82, 1987-90, 1993/94, 1997-02, 2006-09, since 2010
  • In the 3rd Liga ( 16): 1966-69, 1975/76, 1982-87, 1990-93, 1994-97, 2009/10

Status: after the 2011/12 season

In January 2005 was the best scorer of the Greek Cup, Theofanis Gekas, from Kallithea FC Panathinaikos Athens.
