Kalush Raion
The Kalush Raion (Ukrainian Калуський район / rayon Kaluskyj; Russian Калушский район / Kaluschski raion ) is a raion in the Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast in western Ukraine. Center of the Rajons is an administrative district in Kalush. Covering an area of 647 km ² live 62 705 inhabitants (as of 1 December 2001), Rajon bordered to the north by the Rohatyn Raion, on the east by the Halych Raion, in the southeast on the Rajon Tysmenyzja, to the south by Rajon Bohorodchany, in southwest on the Rajon Roschnjatiw, on the west by Rajon Dolyna and to the northwest by the Rajon Schydatschiw (part of the Lviv Oblast ).
