The community association Kandel is an administrative unit in the form of a local authority in the district of Germersheim, in Rhineland- Palatinate. The municipality includes the city of Kandel and six independent local churches, the county seat is located in the eponymous city Kandel. It is located in the southern Palatinate.

The blazon of the arms is: " split in silver and blue split sign board, blue and silver, right overthrown silver sword with a golden knob, top right bewinkelt of a six-pointed gold star, left a green acorn with two green oak leaves ."

It was approved in 1985 by the District Government Neustadt. The Sword and the star was the emblem of the city Kandel, the seat of the municipality removed, and the acorn symbolizes the forest on the territory.
