Kang Chil-ku

Kang Chil -gu ( born August 8, 1984 in Muju ) is a South Korean ski jumper. He jumps for the ski club of his birthplace Muju.

Kang is mainly in ski jumping Continental active, but tries in the World Cup. Especially between 2001 and 2004, he qualified several times for the main competition, even get him World Cup points - in 2003 as 29th in Kuusamo. With the team he was in 2002 in Sapporo eight by eleven teams. Its been last World Cup qualifier was in Sapporo on January 20, 2013.

Major events

At the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City and Turin 2006 Kang Chil -gu was a member of the South Korean team. He could qualify for both individual competitions ( 46 in the normal and 47 on the large hill ) and was ranked 8 with the team. In 2006 he reached the 13th place team

For a single jump at a Nordic World Ski Championships Kang could never qualify, 2005 in Oberstdorf, he was but 10th in team competition on the normal hill and 13th in the team competition on the large hill. In addition, Kang Chil -gu already took part twice in the Ski Flying World Championships.
