The Kangding Airport (Chinese康定 机场; transcribed Kangding jichang ) is taken into service in May 2008, the airport in the district of Kangding or Dardo (Chinese康定 县; transcribed Kangding ), of the administrative territory of the Autonomous District Garzê of the Tibetans in the northwestern Chinese province Sichuan is one. With its location at 4280 m above sea level, he is currently the second highest airport in the world. The only train to the airport ( 15C/33C ) is 4000m long.
