Kankan Prefecture

Kankan is a prefecture located in the same region of Kankan in Guinea with about 232,000 inhabitants. Like all Guinean Prefectures it is after its capital, Kankan, named, which is also the capital of the region.

The prefecture is located in the east of the country, bordering the Ivory Coast and covers an area of ​​18,400 km ².
