Kaolang Forest Park

The Kaolang Forest Park is a forest in the West African nation of Gambia.

Topography

The approximately 7.6 by 3.8 kilometer area of savanna tree is typical of the Sudan zone and is located in the Central River Region, in the districts of East and Niamina Fulladu West. It lies on both sides of the South Bank Road, The Gambia 's main highway, along the stretch between the towns of Soma and Brikama Ba. The Kaolang Forest Park is situated about twelve kilometers from Brikama Ba and eight kilometers to the place Kundang.

In the dry season the trees is regularly threatened by bushfire.
