Karel Jarolím

Karel Jarolím ( born August 23, 1956 in Čáslav, Czechoslovakia ) is a former Czech football player and current football coach.

Playing career

Karel Jarolím played in his youth for Třemošnice. In 1971 he moved to VCHZ Pardubice. There he came to his first stakes in the men's area. 1977, the midfielder from Slavia Prague has been committed. From 1978 to 1980 he completed his military service at Dukla Prague Dukla and Tábor and then returned to Slavia. From 1982 to 1987 Jarolím completed 13 games for the Czechoslovakian national team.

1987 Jarolím went to France and played three years in the Second Division for FC Rouen. The season 1990/91 he spent at Amiens SC even one floor below. After he returned to Czechoslovakia and played back for Slavia Prague. After only one year, he moved again to the club and went to the second league to Viktoria Zizkov, but remained there only half a year. From 1993 to 1994 Jarolím played for second division side FK Švarc Benešov, in the 1994/95 season for FC Bohemians Prague. His active career he finished after the 1995/96 season, where he played for FC Brümmer Ceska Lipa.

Coaching career

Jarolíms first coach station was FC Dukla in the season 1997/98. From 1999, he worked as an assistant at Slavia Prague, on matchday 14 of the 2000/01 season, he broke František Cipro as head coach from. In the summer of 2001, he accepted an offer to work as an assistant coach at Racing Strasbourg. In August 2003, he was hired as general manager in charge of the Czech first division club 1.FC SYNOT. 2004/ 05 he led the now- renamed FC 1 Slovácka club despite a twelve-point deduction for relegation. In the summer of 2005 he returned to Slavia Prague. On 30 March 2010 Jarolím resigned as coach of Slavia Prague before he was brought back again for the 2010/11 season. After a disappointing start to the season came Jarolím end of September 2010 from his office. Mid-October, signed a contract, the Czech until June 2012 when Slovak history, the club ŠK Slovan Bratislava. In August 2011, Jarolím coach of Al -Ahli in Saudi Arabia.

Family

His two sons David and Lukas are both professional football players, as well as his nephew Marek Jarolím.
