Karel Vácha

Karel Vácha ( born August 2, 1970 in České Budějovice ) is a former Czech football player.

Career

Karel Vácha began playing football in Hluboká, with 15 years, he moved to Dynamo České Budějovice. Between 1989 and 1991 he completed at RH (later renamed SKP ) Sušice his army service, and then returned to České Budějovice. There, the striker was equal to a constant in the Erstligamannschaft. After eleven goals in 23 games in the season 1995/96 he was bound by the then Czech champions Slavia Prague and was able to meet with 14 goals in the season 1996/97 expectations.

On September 6, Vácha came to his first race for the Czech national football team in the match against the Faroe Islands in Toftir he came on in the 55th minute for Pavel Kuka. What looked like the beginning of a great career, however, was the high point for the technically outstanding, but little robust striker. He scored this season only six goals, and as the summer of 1998 Jaroslav Hřebík new coach of Slavia, the striker ended up on the bench. His former coach of Slavia František Cipro caught up with him in the fall to Tirol Innsbruck in the Austrian Bundesliga, but where he no longer returns to its former shape. In 1999 Vácha to his old club SK České Budějovice, where he had to witness a decline in the second league in the summer of 2001. In early 2003 it tried the Czech in neighboring Slovakia FC Petržalka 1898, where he first played regularly, but later hardly was used.

In the summer of 2004 Vácha returned there, where his career had begun to Hluboká nad Vltavou in the Czech league 5. In the season 2005/ 06 he worked as an assistant coach František Cipro at Dynamo České Budějovice.
