Karin Dor

Karin Dor, actually Kathe Rose Derr ( born February 22, 1938 in Wiesbaden ) is a German actress.

Life

The native Wiesbadenerin tried at a young age, first as Filmkomparsin, where she took a liking to the work before the camera. From 1954 to 1968 she was married to the 30 years older Austrian director Harald pure linen, who gave her her first voice and then put them in many of his films. Numerous sources give 1936 as her year of birth; which is due to the fact that Dor had himself spent two years older, around 1954 to marry without difficulties.

In the 1960s it was among the most popular actresses of the German entertainment cinema.
