Karl August Görner

Karl August Gorner, also Carl August Gorner (* January 29, 1806 in Berlin, † April 9th, 1884 in Hamburg) was an actor, director and playwright.

Biography and artistic work

Karl August Gorner, son of a tax inspector was in the parental home acquainted with the main stage artists of his time, including with Ludwig Devrient, recipient of the Iffland -Ring, who lived in the same house and was a friend and mentor.
