Karl Hannemann
Karl Hannemann ( born March 4, 1895 in Freiberg, † November 6, 1953 in Berlin) was a German actor.
Life
The son of a theater director volunteered in 1914 at the theater and made his debut in the same year at Berlin's Schiller Theater. He stood on various metropolitan stages, including from 1934 to 1937 at the Theater am Schiffbauerdamm and from 1940 to 1941 at the Deutsches Theater. In 1944, he was inducted into the Gottbegnadeten list shortly before the war ended.
In the film he initially had only sporadic appearances, but since the early 1930s, he appeared as a supporting actor in numerous productions. He embodied Faktoten, servants, buddy, petty criminals and other figures of this kind
After the war he was able to continue at the DEFA to his film career, however, ended in 1949 his work in film. As a stage actor, he acted again at the German Theatre and from 1948 on Schlossparktheater and at the Schiller Theater in West Berlin.
