Karl-Heinz Wirth
Karl -Heinz Wirth ( born January 20, 1944) is a former German football player.
Career
Oberliga and Regionalliga West, 1962-1965
" Kalla " Wirth began his career in 07 of the Youth Department of the sport friends Hamborn. His special talent for the defensive play earned him in the years 1961 and 1962 ten appearances in the DFB national youth team one. He participated in 1962 in Romania and Portugal in the UEFA tournaments in 1961. In Portugal, he formed together with Bernd Patzke the defender pair of the German team that finished in third place. Wirth moved in 1962 from the A- youth directly in the league team Hamborner " lion ". Last year, the Football Oberliga West in 1962 /63 he played together with teammate Rolf sheepfold all 30 league games on the defender position. He scored a goal and Hamborn finished 12th place. His league debut in " Kalla " Wirth on August 18, 1962 in a 1-0 away win at SC Viktoria Cologne, where he had to deal with Willibert Kremer and Jürgen Schult on the left wing of Victoria.
The introduction of the new football league from the season 1963/64, Hamborn played from 1963 to 1965 their association games in the Regionalliga West. In the two rounds Wirth played 72 games and scored nine goals. With the appearance Klaus Kunkel, Rainer Plich, Heinz Pliska, Erich Schiller, Herbert Schwinning and Franz -Josef Sarna he came each with Hamborn to 14th place in the table. In the summer of 1965 he moved to Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt.
Eintracht Frankfurt, 1965-1973
His first league game, he completed under coach Elek Schwartz on September 4, 1965 against Hannover 96 total, he played 138 times in the eight years for the Frankfurt in the Bundesliga. On the final day of the 1972/73 season he left with his use of the home game against MSV Duisburg Frankfurt when he came on in the eighth minute for the injured Jürgen Grabowski coach Erich Ribbeck. Then there were eleven missions in the DFB Cup and 13 games in the UEFA Cup, including the semi-finals in 1967 against Dinamo Zagreb.
Amateur football
To round in 1973/74 to Wirth joined the German amateur champions of the year 1973, the SpVgg 05 Bad Homburg in the amateur league Hesse. At FC Paul Grave break he let go of the season 1977/78 end his career.
