Karl John

Karl John is a former Swiss orienteers.

At the World Championships in 1970 in the GDR John finished in a single run to second place behind Stig mountains of Norway and ahead of his compatriot Dieter Hulliger. With the season he finished fifth. Two years later in Czechoslovakia, he won Hulliger Dieter, Dieter Wolf and Bernard Marti as the final runner of the Swiss Season another silver medal at a World Cup.
