Karlen Mkrtchyan

Karlen Mkrttschjan (Armenian Կառլեն Մկրտչյան, Karlen Mkrtchyan English, Ukrainian Карлен Вардкесович Мкртчян / Karlen Wardkessowytsch Mkrttschjan; born November 25, 1988 in Yerevan, Armenian SSR, Soviet Union) is an Armenian footballer. He has been playing for Anzhi Makhachkala in 2013 in the Russian Premjer League.

Club career

Karlen Mkrttschjan began his career in the youth of the FC Pjunik Yerevan. In the capital club which is named after the mythical bird the phoenix, the defensive midfielder at the age of 18 years came to his debut in the Armenian Championship. With Pjunik Yerevan Mkrttschjan won several times the championship and the Cup, in 2009, even the triple with the additional profit of the Supercup. In March 2011, moved Mkrttschjan free transfer to Metalurh Donetsk in the Ukraine where this signed for three seasons. In team Metalurh two other players from Armenia are in the season 2011/12 season under contract. Among the naturalized Brazilian Marcos Pizzelli and Gevorg Ghasarjan who moved together to Donetsk.

On August 30, 2013 Mkrttschjan Russian first division club Anzhi Makhachkala moved to.

Karlen Mkrttschjan plays since 2008 for the Armenian national football team, having already came to missions in the U -21 in his country.
