The Kasilof River is a river on the west side of the Kenai Peninsula in southern Alaska. Its source is the Tustumena Lake, from which it flows north to Cook Inlet. At the upper course of the river Kasilof has a high flow rate, which, in conjunction with various obstacles to a classification of level 2 on the whitewater difficulty scale. His troubled by silt water is very cold. The underflow, where he meets the Sterling Highway, is a popular area for salmon fishing.
